Your parenthood is their childhood. And for some of these moments, they won't have any tangible proof of this season - only the photos and stories that you can tell them. As much as you deserve to be able to look back and *see* the joy on your toddlers face when they ran and played, so do they also deserve to see you in those photos with them and how you interacted, the way that you watched them with love (or at times - shock).
Let your family photo album be filled with genuine memories of what life was like for you all at each of your individual stages. the tiny, dimply hands reaching for yours out of habit, the way it feels when they melt into you when you pick them up - these are "normal" interactions in our day to day that we will one day crave to feel again. Your family moments deserve to be documented in a way that you can.
KELSI IS AMAZING!!! We have now done family pictures with her twice and can’t rave enough. Our son is autistic and getting him to be still or even smile for pictures almost never happens, but Kelsi is super patient and takes her time and goes at our pace! She found a little area where no other people were and we were able to let our son do his thing and we got some of the best pictures I’ve ever seen! She will listen to you, put your concerns about pictures to ease, and end up part of your family by the end of the session!
